Homeowners Assistance Fund (HAF)
The HAF program is now accepting applications. Tribal members from the following tribes living on or off the reservation are eligible to apply:
Agua Caliente, Cahuilla, Jamul, La Jolla, Morongo, Pauma, Pechanga, Santa Ynez, Torres Martinez, Twenty-Nine Palms, and Viejas
The purpose of the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) is to prevent mortgage delinquencies and defaults, foreclosures, loss of utilities or home energy services, and displacement of homeowners experiencing financial hardship after January 21, 2020, associated with the coronavirus pandemic.
